The Animal Welfare Committee meeting was called to order at 7:40 at the Mansfield Town Hall.
Minutes
Motion: To approve minutes from August 20, 2009. 5:0 Passes.
Spay Waggin
Next date: Monday, September 28th.
Cats
• Jasmine and Layla both have dental problems and should be given wet food,
*Rocky has been sneezing, and should stay in the hallway to avoid spreading upper
respiratory infections.
• Sharon has been giving drontal or strongid to stray cats or kittens on Saturday
mornings, and she will mark it on the cage charges.
Dogs
• Buddy has two applications, which Ana will review.
• Sophia: Corrine has lined up a trainer who will provide six training sessions for Sophia,
as well as a week with the trainer, for $375.00. Volunteers from each shift should
attend the training sessions.
Adjournment
Motion: To adjourn the AWC meeting in order to plan for the MSF Celebration of Animals.
Passes: 510.
