The Animal Welfare Committee meeting was called to order at 7:35 p.m. at the Mansfield Town
Hall.
Approve Minutes
Motion: To approve minutes from August 19, 2010. Passes.
( Vaccination and Spay/Nentor Report
On Friday Jeff will take Drake and Katara for vaccinations and combo tests; Wanda will gat her
stitches removed; Jeff will get medication for Stuart.
Vogue is due to have a stool sample retested on 9/21; then spay surgery scheduled, if negative.
Foster Kitten Report
Kittens in foster care will probably weigh two pounds in a week or two, at which time they can
get their first distemper shots and come to the shelter. Some of Maria's foster kittens are already
spoken for.
New Shelter Report -
Smith and Nephew donated $2,500.00 to the new building fund.
A "painting party" is scheduled for Oct. 2 — 3 to paint the interior walls of the new shelter.
ACO Report
Jeff continues to medicate Ashes' ears. Her skin condition seems to be improving after she started
medicines and changed her diet.
