Vaccination and Spay/Neuter Report
• CATS: Archie — neutered today. Lilac & Tigger — received vaccinations and combo
tests today. Tigger tested possibly positive for FN, and should be retested. Feisty
needs to be spayed.
*DOGS: Smoochie — had his skin irritation checked, and was given meds and a shot of
long -term antibiotics. In case his skin irritation resulted from a food allergy, Jeff got
CORE wheat -free food, and advised that Smoochie should not receive treats. Erika
said it will take 6 — 8 weeks for the allergens to get out of his system. Smoochie will
need a recheck.
Foster Kitten Report
• Sharon's Litter — Their weight is good, and Lori will make a vet appointment for first
distemper shots, but they need a couple more weeks of socialization. One has an
approved application.
•Emilie's Litter — They are underweight and have a skin condition. They may have been
born prematurely.
•Chunk -Chunk — has a URI.

Medical
De- Worming — Sharon has Panacure, and has weighed the cats prior to dosage. This Saturday she
will worm cats in the Quarantine Room, and start using plastic baggies on poop scoops so as not
to re- infect. On Saturday mornings she will deworm new cats as they come into the shelter.
Shelter Maintenance
*Jeff will talk with Mike about going live with the security alarm, and about the gutters
overflowing.
*Utilities —to economize, Jeff would like to keep thermostats set at 75° in summer, and
63° in winter. He stated that 60° — 80° is a comfortable range for animals.
*Carol Kesel will supervise a group of outside volunteers who will clean the old shelter
and the storage pod this Sunday. The old shelter can be used to store Celebration
items. The pod will need to be cleaned and cleared of all food items to prevent mice
returning.
ACO Report
*House Fire Cats — Contractors estimate it will be another three to four weeks before
Roberta's house will be ready for her to take her cats back. Once the cats are home,
Jeff will monitor them monthly to insure that Roberta doesn't continue to acquire
cats.
*Kitty Litter —Jeff picked up 1,000 pounds of kitty litter donated by Franklin Big Lots.
They might have more to donate in the future.
