Motion — by Mary Andrews, to present Roberta with a letter indicating the difficulty of keeping her cats at the shelter when we are full to capacity with shelter cats, requesting an estimated date when she plans to take her cats back, and requesting reports on any delays to that estimated date of departure. Passes: 5/0 Carol Kesel volunteered to write a draft and send it to AWC members for review. ACO Report Since we currently have more cats at the shelter than at any previous time, Jeff requested that we moderate the intake of shay and surrendered cats. Sharon recommended that people wanting to surrender should be advised of alternatives to surrendering. Jeff requested that anyone wanting to bring in a stray should speak with him first, especially since a couple of cats recently brought to the shelter have turned out to be owned by people who came to the shelter to claim them. Misc. Tents - Carol reported that some of the Celebration tents were salvaged from the mouse- ridden storage pod. Jeff volunteered to check how many tents are usable. Discount Adoption - Leslie Harlor suggested having a special rate for senior cats adopted by senior citizens. Adjournment Motion: To adjourn. Passes Adjourned: 8:40 p.m. S of Clerk Date
