Approve Minutes
Motion: To approve minutes from January, 2011. Passes.
Foster Kitten & Cat Report
•Chuck: Best Buddy is getting his insulin regulated, and will eventually return to his
owners
• Emily: Simon, the diabetic cat, is doing well. Sharon requested that Emilie set a
deadline for finding a home for Simon. Considering his special needs, if no home is
found he will be euthanized.
*Mary: Kumar is recovering nicely from his eye procedure. His next checkup is in two
weeks. If all goes well he will return to the shelter after that.
Pet Memorial Garden
Stephanie Putnam's son, Cole, will begin work on his Eagle Scouts project on April 10h. The
garden will be 20 x 40 feet, and will be behind the shelter. Cole will mark the area in advance so
we can see the space it will occupy. The garden will be composed of a low fence, bushes, and
flowers. MSF will buy memorial stones and have them engraved.

ACO Report
*Xavier — a puppy mill dog who is less than a year old. His owner will be off her feet for
6 — 8 wks. A foster home would be a better place than the shelter, but Ana suggested
paperwork for the owner to release the dog and not hold the foster home responsible.
•A Foxboro dog is in the quarantine kennel and will be held for the remainder of his ten
day period. Only Jeff and Sue Thibedeau should feed or handle the dog.
• Smiles — returned after on night of adoption. Smiles has some food aggresion, and is
possessive of objects. Jeff doesn't feel that Smiles is social or people oriented. He
thinks that Smiles is a threat, and will end up biting if he's adopted out, so Smiles
will be euthanized.
Miscellaneous Veterinary
• Benny — Erika suggested that a glucosaminelchondroitin supplement might help
prevent the formation of crystals.
• Charlie —will be tested at Windhover tomorrow to determine the status of his leukemia.
