The Animal Welfare Committee meeting was called to order at 7:40 p.m. at Mansfield Airport
Approve Minutes
Motion: To approve minutes from June, 2012. Passes.
Foster Animal Report
Foster kittens will be ready to come to the shelter in about a week.
ACO Report
• There's an application on Rocco. Jeff will investigate the family and require the children to
come meet Rocco.
• Pratt Street — One cat remains untrapped, but Jeff hasn't seen her, and the traps were untouched
for the past three days. Jeff will remove the traps tomorrow.
Veterinary
• Tommy Tucker will have the skin problem on his nose cliecked tomorrow.
•Jeff gave Lilac Blossom the 1" drontal treatment for worms. Erika said that she should have a
stool sample test 5 — 6 weeks after the second drontal treatment.
• Velvet has been scratching her ears. Jeff will take her to the vet for an exam for ear mites.
• Bon Bon's 3" eyelid showing could be a sign of illness. Jeff will take her to the vet.
Miscellaneous
• Erika has finished her research for the animal care lectures that she plans to present to shelter
volunteers.
• Lori brought in some rocks from the beach, to be used in die memorial garden.
