Chairman Gazzolo called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.
Chairman Gazzolo asked the representatives to take us through the budget process of the
Electric Light Department and speak about some of the printed materials they distributed.
Fincom members asked numerous questions about the department's finances, budget process
and organizational structure. We reviewed several line items within the budget. A
subcommittee of Lazzara and Goldberg will meet to further review the materials and arrange
to meet again with representatives of the department and report back to the full committee.
Fincom will continue this effort with a goal of being able to make recommendations to the
Board of Selectmen about the department's budget and the process leading up to it.
On a motion duly made and seconded, it was:
VOTED: to adjourn the meeting at 9:15 p.m.
