Present: James Lazzara, Jack Goldberg, Charlene Lavin, Michael Sams
Acting Chairman DelVecchio called the meeting to order at 7:10 p.m
On a motion duly made and seconded, it was:
VOTED: to accept (4 -0) the minutes of the meeting of February 5, 2004
Discussion regarding the School's warrant article regarding a tax override. Charlene informed the
fincom of the number of new positions that are part of the School's budget request.
Jack reported the results of the discussions he and Frank held with various department heads. Overall,
requests contained small increase requests. Such increases were attributed pent -up needs from level
fimded budgets of the past few years. The more significant requests noted were for 5 new vehicles by
the chief of police and for 2 new firefighters by the fire chief.
Mike reminded all members that next week will be a joint meeting with representatives of the Schools.
The questions submitted to John Moretti and his responses will likely serve as the agenda of that
meeting.
On a motion duly made and seconded, it was:
VOTED: to adjourn the meeting at 8:10 p.m.
