At that time in the proceedings the budget deficit was $160,000. The Selectmen moved to support a motion that would appropriate another $80,000 from stabilization and seek another $80,000 reduction from the Schools. Fincom reviewed a list of reductions from the Schools in the amount of $810,000, however, it was noted that they were largely comprised of revenues rather than expense reductions and that there was not enough detail to evaluate what was done. A memo from John D'Agostino was reviewed. The memo indicated there would not be any more reductions forthcoming and that Moretti and D'Agostino supported $160,000 from stabilization be used to balance the budget. The matters were discussed but Fincom took no action on the Selectmen' vote or the recommendation to use an additional $160,000 from stabilization.. Chairman Gazzolo led a discussion that brought out all of the topics the fmcom would discuss at town meeting and made specific assignments for the organization and writing of the presentation. On a motion duly made and seconded, it teas: VOTED: to adjourn the meeting at 8:40 p.m. Re ectful ly submitted, - /I a Ca Jac Goldberg, c etary
