Also in attendance were Selectmen Achille, Amoruso and Town Manager John
D'Agostino
General discussion was held regarding the status of the 2006 budget and the current
deficit. On a motion that was made and duly seconded it was voted 7 -0 to ask the Town
Manager to prepare a balanced budget for Fiscal 2006 without the use of stabilization
based on the information the Town Manager has of May 12, 2005.
Discussion was held as to specific slides that we will use at the Town meeting and
FINCOM agreed on including the following slides:
• Town/School FTE's
• Stabilization
• Total Expenses/Base Revenue
We decided that Andy would introduce the committee and give a brief synopsis of the
where FINCOM stood. Jack Goldberg would then the present any slides that were to be
used.
On a motion that was made and duly seconded it was voted to accept the minutes of the
4/28/05 and 5/5/05 meetings.
On a motion that was made and duly seconded it was voted to adjourn at 9:30 P.M.
