Assessors Minutes
August 4, 2004
Meeting called to order at 6:30 pm.
2. Mike Eagan & John McNair were present.
Read correspondence
4. Signed forms & documents.
7:00 pm - Board met with Bea Kerney, Town Accountant to discuss an
overdraw of $1,313.50 of the senior tax work off program. Bea
was notified of this error from Gail Farugia, COA Director, who
in turn notified the Board of Assessors of the financial error.
After discussion, BOA voted 2 -0 to make the adjustment out of
The 2004 overlay account and requested the COA to monitor
This account more closely so as not to have this problem again.
Bea will pass on the BOA's recommendations on this issue.
6. 7:15 pm - started reviewing process of applications for Ass't Assessor/
Office Mgr.- 146 applications were received.

7. Voted 2 -0 to send put preliminary tax bills, should there be any problem or
Delay obtaining certification of new values from Dep't of Revenue
8. Voted 2 -0 to accept minutes of July 21, 2004
