mission by Mr. David Grant of Cabot, Cabot & Forbes. National
Development Associates is proposing to build a two -story 100,000
square foot building in the industrial park which would be within
100 feet of a wetland. Because this would automatically trigger
the filing of a Notice of Intent, they came before the Commission
to outline their plans generally and to ask for any feedback the
Commission might have. Commissioner Sweet pointed out that there
might be some concerns from the Hodges Brook area residents with
increased run -off. Other commission members also mentioned pos-
sible concerns with pollution and the need for oil /water separators.
Construction is expected to start in June or July.

(Mahoney - O'Neill; vote put aside for discussion)
Commissioner Ouellette asked if the Commission could put a cease
and desist order in effect and get Mr. Keefe to come before the
Commission again with new plans.
Commissioner Mahoney continued his motion:
Any additional work on the property
would require an additional filing
because it is within 100 feet of a
wetland.
(Mahoney - Graham; all in favor) VOTED
The Commission stated in its denial:
The land proposed to be filled as an isolated land subject
to flooding is in fact a part of the existing wetland. As
a result, no work shall be done on the existing property
developments as they fall within the 100 foot buffer zone
of the wetland.
MOTION: To send Mr. Keefe a letter inviting him
to come before the Commission's next
meeting to discuss the denial and notifying
him that he still may appeal the decision
