Owens is reserving judgment about whether to look at the projects separately even though they have been filed separately. Comm. Poholek expressed his preference for calling in a consultant, because there are so many questions about water quality issues; Comm. Rhoads had recommended hiring a consultant (to review drainage calcs.) in his comments. Dave Archard did review thoroughly when plans came before the Planning Board and was satisfied, MOTION: To bring in a consultant, as suggested; ascertain that there would be no impact to the aquifer, since this is part of the area , designated as an ACEC. Mr. Folkman spoke to the rationale behind double filing; the applicants have always regarded project as one site, but they want separate orders, with the only ties being the drainage aspects which will require cross- referencing within each order of conditions. Regarding use of consultant: Mr. Folkman expressed a preference for a staff roundtable work session with planning and engineering staff. Chairman Powers asked for a copy of the environmental impact study done for the Planning Board. Comm. Poholek asked what the chances are that the area will become a pond instead of a wetland area; he asked whether it would drain. It was explained that a brook is the outlet.
