REQUEST FOR DETERMINATION OF APPLICABILITY
Tom Grossi- -Lots 145, 147 — Plain St.-- Grading for two sing le - family "homes,
within 100 ft. of wetlands
Mr. Grossi wishes to grade an area about 25 ft. behind the house. Hay
bales are on site now. Applicant asked if he could clean out the area of
"junk.." The commission encouraged him to do so. The commissioners had no
questions. Comm. Powers wants to make sure direction of shedding isn't going to
change. Chairman Cauldwell requested a more accurate plan for the record.
MOTION: To continue with applicant's permission to 4 -13 -92 at 7:05 to wait
for the new plan.

WETLANDS PROTECTION ACT HEARING CONTINUATION - SE211 -334: Dajo Realty Trust- -
Eastleigh Estates North (Route 105)
Karl Drown. Oil/water separators have been added to the plan to address
the issue of direct discharge into wetland. Rev. date 3- 31 -92. Comm. Powers'
chief concern: putting oil /water separator sounds good, but with velocity coming
in from other side, it may not function during peak flow time. Chairman
Cauldwell: need to know area of contribution. Three 12" pipes will be going
into a 24" pipe. Alternative designs would require additional filling.
Poholek: why are there no calculations shown? Calcs requested to show to what
storm volume it can be expected to function - preferably for at least a 25 -year
storm.
Chairman Cauldwell has determined that while DEP encourages avoidance of
direct discharge, it is not prohibited by regulation.
Abutter Ratty Rudy, 19 Cavan Crossing, was present to register her concern
about, additional water being shed to her let as a resUlt.of development.
MOTION: To continue to 7:15 at the hough school, 4- 13 -92.
