reouesting transfer. Selectmen did not give their support or
approval.. Request submitted to Finance Conunittee.

Corrofab. Planning Board has i•mitten Rvan, Elliot a letter
p;iving them approval. to install sewer with stinulati.on that it
in no way chan-;es approval of subd:ivisi.on. unl.y Corrofab and
u�:ens- Illinois will be allowed to hook into sewer.

Chairman had conwl_gint from Nrs. Tartufo of uakland Street on
odors from ;- `erkjiins Chocolatc, blrite letter to `lawn I•ianager
asking for :al.l. copies of correspondence between previous hoard

and what action has been taken so that we can follow -up on

met with Board. lie read letter to Planning Board from firs.
Jellinek's attorney, stating reasons :nhy subdivision should be
dissapproved. lir. Armel. stated that salt, oil, soot and other
associated mpt:erials 2rom automobiles, also detergents, will be
washed into well. field. de did not know if run off from 195
finds its way to well field. He stated ii_a,urn_ of 3501J00 gallons
of water in 2" storm over 10 acres, based on all of the lots being
develolPed within one drainage basin.
Mr. Armal also noted a pro,?osed ooen ditch, which Board should
consider. lie also felt that since there area wetlands involved the '
Conservation Coamiissi.on should see if a :atch Act- hearing; is
required. There is also no provision made for open space. He
felt back land would require 80,JJO yards of fill. Chairman
felt Board's decision should be made on w` tether. or. not there is
potential, impact on town wells,, and that we do not have sufficient
information to make a recommendation right now.
Chairman noted that also in close. pros -imity to wells is Boro Sand
and Department of Public Works 195 rest area. Consensus of the.
Board to write a letter to the. °lanain Board stating that we
are concerned with the developeients of Circle C, DPW 195 rest: area
Boro Sand, and their potential impact on the town wells. Until
such time as we can get more definitive and reliable information
on this matter, we are deferring any action. We will attempt to
have a hydrological study of t1li.s area and the potential impact
on totm wells .
Board discussed requesting developer to provide a hydrologist, of
our choice, .t :o investigate.
7. Board has received tentative approval on the sanitary landfill.
By September 1-0 Board has to have Capital. :improvement Budget in.
On the landfill site we need money for appraisal., land acquisition,
engineerinn study and approval, devetopment of the plans. Chair-
man will devcl.op these figures for next weelc's meeting.
8. Status of following-
