Mr. Lange also flagged the wetland area. This is a seven lot residential area being proposed. The plans were approved by the Planning Board in January, 1996. The drain system and detention plan was reviewed. A site walk is necessary to verify the wetland area. The site walk will be at 7:00 a.m.on Saturday, September 14, prior to the Conservation Commission Meeting. The Commission will meet at 447 West Street at 7:00 a.m. There are no changes, differences, and no fill or alterations within 100' of the wetland. Several abutters were present to discuss water and flooding problems in the general area. It was stated that part of the wetland area is created by a spring that does not go completely dry. Concern was raised by the abutters concerning the fact that additional development will cause more water going onto abutting properties. It was pointed out a catch basin was installed at the rear of one of the abutting lots to help direct water and act as an overflow for the wetland depression on the subject property. Cauldwell invited abutters to go on the site walk on September 14. Wetland does extend off the site. Ms Hanlon asked that they stake the line including theta houses as well as the center part of the road.
