This plan would be replicating more it would be disturbing. Mr. Trowbridge has taken the job over and is looking for the Conservation Commission's ideas. The brook has been moved once before. $50,000 was allocated to schools for purposes related to establish this field under separate capital. This is a man- made brook with fairly steep banks. The numbers are based on relocation. Bordering would be about 3500 sq. ft. and if they add in the channel it would be about 5500. It could be somewhat less than 3500. Mr. Lewis noted that bend is steep and Mr. Trowbridge said it could come up a few more feet. This is a preliminary sketch. The Town will get two more baseball field and three soccer fields. It is 40" from the edge of the playing field Some buffers were provided. Mr. Cauldwelt also questioned whether or not the area is chemically treated. The drainage is drained into the hook area. Everything is hard -piped out. Mr. Trowbridge will take a look at the hook area. The Commission had no problems with the sketch. Master Plan - Update: There was a meeting on October 8, 1996 to discuss the Master Plan. November Meeting Schedule: The Conservation Commission will meet at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, November 4 and 19, 1996 in the Town Hall.
