1. CALL TO ORDER at TOOPM by Clerk Forget, Town Hall, 3`d Floor.
2. NEW BUSINESS
Taken out of order. Village at Willow Crossing Lifeguard Requirement.
At 7:00 PM Dennis DeGloria, Executive Director of Village at Willow Crossing and several
residents of this facility, were present to discuss the lifeguard requirement at their indoor
indoor swimming pool.
Health Agent explained to the Board that the Commonwealth allows a town or city the choice
to require a lifeguard on duty or a sign that states "no lifeguard on duty" for a public and/or
semi- public swimming pool. It is the Board's choice.
Mr. DeGloria told the Board that the pool is 14'00', 3'6" to 3'9" deep, indoor, heated and
accessible only to independent residents to swim when they wish. The policy is that no one is
allowed to swim alone. The Village would prefer no lifeguard on duty. The Village is
agreeable to hiring the YMCA to conduct life safety classes for the residents.
MOTION: To allow The Village at Willow Crossing to post the sign,
"No Lifeguard on Duty" and not require a lifeguard.

h. Background on Sewer Connection Reg: Regulation issued in 1993 when
