BOARD OF HEALTH
MINUTES
January 18, 1978
Presents Chairman Clemmey, Clerk Benson, S. Holske, E. Tartufo
Meeting called to order at 700 PM.
The Chairman noted that Town Engineer /Health Agent Jay Abely
and board member Drx. Sohn were not present at the meeting.
1. Minutes of January 11, 1978-
Motions to accept as amended and corrected.

Amendments
January 3. Margaret Troy, 171 Ware Street. This is a repair
system. The installer is Gary Defthlefs. The engineer is RIM.
The system was not passed. The distribution box was broken. There
was not enough pea stone and the pipe and ground elevation mark
were wrong. Chairman re- inspected on January 4 and more pea stone
had been added and fields had been installed. The distribution
box had been replaced with a new one. This will require a certified
As Built plan. Town Engineer Jay Abely will re- inspect for the
last inspection.
Town Engineers Report
Received As Built plans for Margaret Troy 168 Ware Street.
Approval recommended. Final inspection made at 2s45 PM by
Town Engineer Jay Abely.
Mr. Lestan and Mrs. Griffiths at 13.3 Willow Street. The system
is not finished. Town Engineer Jay Abely will re- check. Chairman
did not feel they need As Built plans as they have been built
exa$c- y exactly to the plan. They have not been able to cover
because of the frozen ground. The installer is Joe Gonsalves.
James Freeman is the engineer.

Chairman Clemmey called the meeting back to order at 9:15 PM.
3. Correspondence
Received from Macomb County Health Department announcement for
the position of County Health Office in Michigan. This will be
posted.

Received from Town Manager memo asking all Department Heads to
submit a list of any seminars within the state with estimated
costs for the year 1978 -79. Letter will be sent to the Town
Manager advising the Board plans to attend six local seminars
at $80.00 per meeting.
Received from Claude Dubord and Son, Inc, Bridgewater, Ma.
quarterly report for pumping for October, November and
December 1977.
Received from the State Inspector, Division of Food and Drugs
inspection report of Esmond Terminal Warehouse at 10 Hampton Road.
Received from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts copy of letter to
Owens - Illinois, Inc. regarding SMAPCD Mansfield Regulation 13
Emmission Testing and advising of deficiencies.
Received from the Board of Selectmen memo regarding submission
of Town Meeting articles.
Received from Paul Boyden letter regarding payment for perc
tests and plan review. Letter of apology will be sent to
Mr. Boyden and also Mr. DeGirolamo.
( Advisory letter was received from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts,
Department of Public Health regarding Changes in Hospital rates
for Tuberculosis In- Patient Care. Copy will be sent to the
Library.
Received from Bristol County Mosquito Control Project Annual
Report.
Received from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Department of
Public Health. Letter and forms regarding Measles, Mumps and
Rubella Investigations. This will be givelto the Town Clerk's
Office.
Booklet was received from Family Health Services, Department of
Public Health. This will be sent to the Library.
Received from the Planning Board, minutes of January 4, 1978.
4. Bills
Received from Deborah Button bill for Secretarial services in the
amount of $87.50.

5. Permits
Received from J. & B. Builders Inc., 31 Brookside Avenue
Dedham, Ma. application for Disposal Works Installers Permit
with check in the amount of $25.00.
Motions To approve and when the Permit is filled out to have
three members go the Town Clerks Office and sign.
