Meeting called to order at 7 :35 PM.

1. Minutes of January 18, 1978•
Motions To accept with correction of bake to table under
plans: Juris Seitins.
S. Holske -E. Tartufo, three in favor. (Dr. Sohn abstained
as he was not present at the meeting.)
2. Bills
Hobbs & Warren, Inc.
For restaurant Inspection Forms in the amount of $12.75
Motions To pay.

Schofield Btothers, Inc. for Engineering Services for meeting
res Erick Road Apartments in the amount of $67.50.

3. Correspondence
Received Enteric Culture from Goddard Clinic.
Received from the Office of State Health Planning Health Briefs
to be sent to the Library.
Received from Attleboro Area Mental Health statistics for
October, November and December 1977•
Received pa;iVireceipt for Myles Franey for lots 1004, 1008
and 1016 West Street for Engineer Report Preparation.
Received Health Education Catalog, 1978 to, be sent to the
Library.
Received Planning Board minutes for January 11 and 12.
Received copy of Town Manager's Budget for 1978 -79.
4. Permits
Chairman Clemmey and E. Tartufo advised the Board they had
been to the Walpole Grit and had talked with Mr. O'N011 regarding
Pumpers. Only two pumpers are dumping there. The secretary
will contact area town's and ask how much the MDC is charging
them and if they are aware how many pumpers licensed in their
town are dumping in Walpole.

and 780 South Main Street. Town Engineer Jay Abely recommended
approval.
Motions To approve.

voting.)
Plan for Robert Nordbeck, 242 School Street. Town Engineer
Jay Abely recommended approval as all corrections had been
made.
Motions To approve.

Town Engineer Jay Abely advised the Board he had reviewed
the plan for Juris Seitins for 814 Maple Street.
Motions To send the attached letter advising final approval
canno —be given until report on wells is received.

6. Town Engineers Report
Motion: To accept Town Enginners Jay Abely's report.
S. Holske -E. Tartufo, all in favor.)
Discussion was held on Rumford River Estates off South Main
Street, owner Norman Gray, preliminary plan. Attached is
copy of Town Engineer Jay Abely's report.
Motions To accept the Town Engineer Jay Abely's recommendation
and to send a copy to the Planning Board.
(Dr. Sohn -S. Holske, two in favor Chairman Clemmey Voting Present
Discussion was held on procedure regarding the submission of
plans to the Board. Town Engineer Jay Abely will receive the
plan, review the plan, return to the engineer for corrections
if necessary and submit the corrected plan to the Board for
their review and approval# with his recommendation.
Town Engineer Jay Abely advised the Board that property owned
by Mr. Nevs North Main Street with health violations comes
under the Board's jurisdiction under Artible II, Regulations 33•
Town Engineer Jay Abely discussed with the Board a repair for
a septic system for Howard Fiske, Sr. on Judy's Lane. The
system has failed but the owner does not have enough land
to install a new system. There is room for one pit which
could be attached to the existing system.

Report from Jay Abely, Town Engineer /Health Agent
Reviewed Rumford River Estates (Norman Gray) off South Main Street.
Ordered three or four Flood Control Maps from HUD.
Reviewed As Builts for 760 and 780 South Main Street, owner Karl
D. Clemmey. ##760 pit within three feet of line is plugged at
distribution box. Recommend approval.
Reviewed 814 Maple Street (Juris Seitins) with Chairman Clemmey.
Recommend approval pending receipt of well water test results.
Reviewed 242 School Street (Robert A. Nordbeck) with Chairman
Clemmey, recommend approval.
