Health Agent Leite will check readings. Joseph St. Onge - Old Colony Diner Charles Mulcahey - Mr. St. Onge' Attorney Health Agent Leite recently did an inspection at the Old Colony Diner and ordered several items to be corrected, giving Mr. St. Onge two weeks. Thirteen days later, Health Agent did another inspection and found that things had not changed. Some of the items that should be corrected are: the floor in the wash area is not sanitary; garbage is left uncovered; food handling - food is left uncovered, food is left out at room temperature; walk -in cooler does not meet standards, racks are made out of wood; cellar door is left open; and premises are dirty. Some items go back to when inspections were done in October, 1985, and never were corrected. At this point, Health Agent felt this matter should be brought to the Board of Health to decide if license should be revoked. Chairman Tartufo requested that schedule of work to be done should be estab- i fished. Health Agent recommended that Mr. St. Onge contact contractors and inform him exactly when each job is scheduled. Mr. St. Onge will submit list to Health Agent within one week. OLD BUSINESS -Member Steele suggested that the Board enforce no smoking at the Board of Health meetings and all other town meetings, in the corridors of the town hall and at the counters where people are doing business, and restaurants. Again, Chairman Tartufo feels it is fine for our Board to enforce this rule at it's meetings, but stresses that the first step would be for the Board of Health to "encourage" all Town Boards and committees to take similar action. , Resolution will be voted on when all Board of Health members are present. Member Steele spoke with the Department of Public Health and pointed out that we are not going to be a leader in this; 39 other towns already.have smoking ordinances, including Foxboro and Plainville. 8.
