Food Service Licenses: HA requested that FS licenses be issued once a year, either on June lst or January lst. Retail, food service, mobile, and milk and cream expire on three different dates and all use the same food service application. One date would streamline the process. Board of Health agreed. 6. OLD BUSINESS -bit. Zarek asked if there was any response on the hydrological study requested by the Board of Health. A letter will be sent to Town Manager. -Mr. VanSplinter attended a Recycling Seminar in Millis and reported that they have a very ambitious program. Recycling will not help at this time since the Town has a flat -rate contract for trash removal. If the Town renegotiates a trash removal contract based on tonnage, then recycling would be beneficial. 7. NEW BUSINESS None presented at this time. 8. PENDING -Mr. VanSplinter will attend two more concerts at Great Woods. Tuesday, Sept. 13th, still night, damp and cool, helicopter was working again to monitor inversion layer. There are still other steps that could be taken to alleviate noise issue even though progress has been made and Great Woods management has been most cooperative. Water curtains (fountains) and lowering acoustical clouds will be looked at for future improvements. -Mr. Steele reported his telephone conversation with Maryanne Powers, Attleboro Area Mental Health Clinic. After Blue Cross /Blue Shield, Medicare, Medicaid, and private health plans are exhausted, MHC will charge patient either full rate or sliding scale based on income. $23,000 would be a more like rate for the Town of Mansfield based on the number of patients MHC sees. Mansfield currently pays $5,400 per year. Ms. Powers will get Mr. Steele more info. 9. ADJOURNMENT MOTION: To adjourn at 8:10 p.m. Zarek /Steele. All in favor. VOTED.
