Members present: Chairman Henry Austin, Michael VanSplinter and Peter
Fontanini'
Also present Health Agent Scott Leite
Attorney Charles Maquire, Volterra, Goldberg and
Mangiaratti Law Offices
Meeting was called to order at 6 :37 PM by Chairman Austin.
Purpose of tonight's special meeting was to discuss the decision for
summary judgment (see BOH Minutes 4/16/92) re: Turf Care and Plant
Regulator Applicators Regulation, issued by the Board of Health on
February 7, 1991, and challenged by lawncare companies.
After much discussion, the following motion was made.
MOTION: Not to appeal the lawncare decision.
Fontanini /Austin (passed gavel). 2 -1 VOTED
VanSplinter opposed.
MOTION: To adjourn at 7:28 PM.
Fontanini /VanSplinter. All in favor. VOTED
