Murray, 15 Fulton Place, #1 Glen P. Fournier; 26 Webb Place Cynthia Habart, 1159 West Street The Board discussed the negotiations with Foxboro regarding the sewer connection into the Wastetwater Treatment Plant. As a result of the discussion, the Town Manager and the DPW Director will prepare a posi- tion paper that will be presented to the Foxboro Board of Selectmen at the meeting on January 17, 1984. The essence of the Town's position is that Mansfield would consider the connection of the Sears Estates, Greenview Estates and Brookside Drive areas, as well as the central area of town; these areas are iden- tified by the State as critical needs in solving the Foxboro problem. Mansfield would agree to those connections provided the Town of Fox- boro adopted a sewer policy for future developments in the Canoe River and Wading River watershed areas. These two areas are the primary acquifers for Mansfield. In addition, Mansfield would have to give approval for all future commercial and industrial connections in Fox- boro. The Selectmen asked the Town Manager to contact Foxboro to re- quest that the Foxboro Company not be considered as part of the dis- cussion and that the Foxboro Company would be treated as a commercial and industrial user.
