BOARD OF SELECTMEN
MINUTES OF MEETING
November 24, 1982
PRESENT: Chairman McNair, Selectmen Colella, Mahana, Levine, May
7:00 P.M. Meeting called to order. Margot Jellinek was present to discuss
a subdivision being proposed in Foxboro which is located on one of our
recharge areas for Cate Springs well. She read a letter to the Board and
showed them maps of the water and soil in that area. She noted that Planning
Director Paul Folkman showed the map to the Town Manager who approved it
with one small change, but never produced the plan at a Planning Board
meeting. She requested that the Board call Raynham and obtain a copy of
the soil services review of the •subdivision and to get on the Foxboro
Planning Board agenda for December 2 as they will be voting on the plans.
She would like an environmental impact stud? done before approving the
plans. Board agreed to do this.
7:15 P.M. Barbara Hagg - Town Audit
Mrs. Hagg was present to go over the proposals for the town audit which
has to be completed by February 28, 1983. Clerk Levine read the letter
from Town Accountant Barbara Hagg on the proposals received. Mrs. Hagg
had Chas. DiPesa come down and go over their proposal which is for $10,000
but did not include the electric department audit. If they included that
the price would be around $15,000. He mentioned to her that if more work
needed to be performed, they would have to add it on to the price at a
later date. She recommended that they award the audit to Peat Marwick
Mitchell for their price of $17,900 which included a complete audit of
the town books and electric department. $10,000 is in the budget for it,
and the extra $7,900 will come from the electric department. They also
did the audit for the town last year so they are familiar with the books.

with $10,000 coming from budget and $7,900 from Electric
Light Department. Colella /May VOTED: 4 -0.

This would be about four parking spaces on Rumford Avenue. It was suggested
that the curb be painted yellow at that location.
