8:00 P.M. Camp Dresser & McKee Progress Report
Present were Jim Glendye, Charlie Loveridge and Paul Marchessault to dis-
cuss the monthly progress report for June, Mr. Glendye went over the
report and showed the Board the pictures taken at the groundbreaking on
June 12, 1982. Selectman Mahana noted that at some point in time before
pipe is purchased for the water main, he would like a determination made
by CDM on the 12" main as he is opposed to using a 12" main. Would rather
have a 6" main installed. Norton will have to pay for the difference
between the 6 and 12" main if the 12" main is used. The increased cost
between an 8" and 12" main is $9,000 of which Mansfield would pay $900.
After a short discussion on the water main size and cost, the following
motion was made.
* MOTION: To direct CDM to direct Hope Building Co. not to install
town water pipe until the Board has taken a stand on it.
Mahana /Colella VOTED: 2 -1 Levine opposed.

officials. tie also spoke briefly on the payment request from Hope Building
Co. which was on tonight's warrant. He also had two change orders that
needed Board approval. One was for a non -fix wash hose station @ $1,000 and
the other was a piping, valves and acid resistent piping deletion for a
credit of $1,460. Total of the two change orders is a credit of $460.00.
