Special meeting of the Board this date regarding the Nancy B, Skene
subdivision plan submitted on October 29, 1971 to the Board of Health,
Meeting opened at 4:20 P,M, Selectmen Caponigro and Saunders present,
Selectman Main was unable to be here until a little later,
After reviewing the plan the proper information was not submitted. A, letter
was written ':on October 21, 1971 asking for information which was not re-
ceived. Whereas, the forty -five day period is up November 13,1971 the
Board called this special meeting to take action on the application,
Motion by SelectmantCaponigro that the plan be rejected was seconded by
Selectman Saunders and the following letter toi>be.4ent to the'. Planning, Board"
Selectman Main had advised by telephone that he would be in favor of reo
jecting the application,
Nancy B Skene of 17 Buckingham Road, Norwood, Massachusetts submitted a
definitive subdivision plan entitled Highland Estates to the Board of
Health on September 29, 1971, According to General Laws, Chapter 41
Section 81U, the Board of Health is required to take action on a definitive
plan within forty -five (45) days of its submission which in this instance
would mean November 13, 1971,
Please be advised that the applicant has not followed the Board of Health's
procedure as indicated in our notice to all persons filing a definitive
plan. Therefore, on November 12, 1971 at a special meeting, the Mansfield
Board of Selectmen, acting as the Board of Health, voted not to approve
this application,
Meeting was adjourned until 5:30 P,M„ and the meeting was opened at that
time by Selectman Main, Selectmen Saunders and Caponigro voted in favor of
the above motion,
Meeting adjourned at 6:15 P,M,
