Special meeting held at 12 noon this date.
All members of the Board present, and the Town Counsel was present. The
Board discussed Mr. Camp's resignation.
*The Board discussed the placing of an ad in the Boston Globe, all members
voiced opinions.
Motion by Selectman Titus that Chairman.Zecher be replaced as Chairman by
Selectman Main was seconded by Selectman Saunders, Vote called fort
Selectmen Saunders and Titus for; Main abstained; Zecher abstained, Caponigro
against. Vote did not carry.
Chairman Zecher submitted his resignation as Chairman. Motion by Selectman
Saunders that resignation be accepted seconded by Selectman Titus. Vote
called: Selectmen Saunders, Titus, Main for, Caponigro against. Chairman
not voting,
Motion by Selectman Titus, seconded by Selectman Saunders that Selectman Main
be Chairman. Selectmen Saunders, Titus, Main for - Caponigro against - Zecher
not voting.
Chairman Main asked to discuss Mr, Camp's letter of August 13. Motion by
Selectman Titus: I move that we accept the voluntary resignation as of December
1st from Town Manager Rolfe Camp if and when same is tendered, seconded by
Selectman Caponigro, Vote Selectmen Titus, Saunders, Main for - Caponigro
and Zecher against,- so voted.
Motion by Selectman Caponigro to reconsider last vote - so voted.
Motion to table by Selectman Caponigro above vote defeated - 4 - 1.
Motion by.Selectman Titus to reconsider - so voted.
Selectman Zecher notified Board that he would resign from the Board of Se-
lectmen effective October 22, 1971,
Motion by Selectman Saunders, seconded by Selectman Titus to go into executive
session - so voted.
Executive session - 1:20 P.M.
Executive session - Town Counsel discussed Zoning Board of Appeals permits
granted Fireside Realty and Carol Ann Realty decisions, and advised Board as
to wording If sewer permits.
