the dumping of septic tank.. waste at the sewer plant in conjunction with
the request of Omer C. Lajoie regarding a request for a license. He ad-
vised that the waste from septic tanks is different from the type we have

Area, Inc. requesting town assistance to help further the project. The follow-
ing requests were made:
1. Regrade the outlet at the end of the drainage ditch.- out at the end of the
swamp, the contractor went as far as he was supposed to. At the end it needs
a little opening so the water can get out into the swamp. Would only leave
121 in the ditch on the outlet end. Outlet ditch is deeper than it should bee
2. The main parking area should be laid out for proper drainage, etc. Leveled
and graded to engineer's recommendations. Ed Richards agreed to go up with the T
new Town Engineer and look over the area and have a layout made, but agreed
that it did not have to be laid out to a fraction of an inch.
3. The public access to the park to be from Copeland Road from Maple Street.
Road should be widened, could be widened 81 -10' so two cars could pass on it.
4. Gravel pitJareh )should- be:properly.graded to blend.in withtthe.-surrounding
terrain.. There is a hazard there that should be be fixed.
5. The roadway to the swimming area - there is a gulch there which should be
filled in to a more acceptable grade.
G; The easterly roadway from the Highway Department Garage was a temporary
access road,to avoid loaded trucks from using the gas pipeline road during
the excavation project. This should be closed off and restored to its natural
condition.
7. Regarding cleaning up the wooded areas and developing trails and camp
site, volunteer groups will be solicited to clean up fallen trees, stumps, etc,
and to remove accumulated debris.
8. A scale layout of the entire area would be a valuable asset for planning
and informational purposes now and for later use by the Recreation Commission to
record improvements in the future.

ance from the Highway Department. Advised there was a need for the bulldozer,
