Present: Board of Selectmen, Town Counsel Grady
Meeting opened at 10:00 a.m.
Selectman Caponigro moved, Selectman Colella seconded, to go into Execu-
tive Session. So voted. Selectman Secher moved, Selectman Levine seconded,
to re -open the meeting.
Chairman Titus commented on the fact that the Conflict of Interest Law had
been explained to the Board by Town Counsel Grady.
Chairman Titus requested a formal vote regarding Carl Nelson's conflict
on the Planning Board.
Motion to rescind the Board's letter of October 18, 1973P to Carl Nelson
was made by Selectman Caponigro; motion failed for lack of a second.
Motion to remove Planning Board member Nelson from his position due to
conflict of interest appearance as explained by-Town Counsel Grady made
by Selectman Secher and was seconded by Chairman Titus after he passed
the gavel to Selectman Caponigro, Acting Chairman. The vote was 5 -0.
Selectman Secher moved to send a letter to Mr. Nelson informing him of
the Board's decision, and that Town Counsel assist in the composition of
the letter. Seconded by Selectman Caponigro, so voted.
Motion was made by Selectman Levine, and seconded by Selectman Secher to
send letter to all other Board and Committee members on conflict of inter-
est. All in favor, so voted.
Motion to adjourn made by Selectman Secher, seconded by Selectman Caponi-
gro, so voted.
