Minutes of the Meeting
February 1, 1975
Special Meeting to Close Warrant
The Board of Selectmen reviewed the status of the complaints about Street
Lighting. The alternative solutions were a transfer, temporary suspension
of the street lighting rate, abating the deficit as Light Commissioners,
or reducing the contribution to the Town in an amount equal to the unpaid
bill. Selectman Caponigro moved, Selectman Colella seconded, that the Board
request a $15,000 transfer from the Reserve Fund in the anticipation of a
deficit of at least that amount. All in favor.
Selectman Caponigro moved, Selectman Levine seconded, that the Light Depart-
ment-suspend any further removal of street lights until this matter is
cleared up. The Board intended to discuss these matters with the FinCom at
the earliest possible date.
The Board reviewed articles proposed by petitioners, departments and
boards through the Capital Improvement Program, and articles submitted in-
dependently by boards and committees for the 1975 Annual Town Meeting. The
Board reviewed these items on "Articles Anticipated or Submitted for 1975
Annual Town Meeting" (copy attached). The Board of Selectmen made the fol-
lowing changes, additions, and /or deletions; (see February 10 memo.

ninginm the Warrant for the 1975 Annual Town Meeting. All in favor.
