Titus. Town Manager William Metropulos and Recording Secretary Mary Truczinskas. The Meeting was called to order at 7:40 p.m. Balance Sheet - Light Director James Hall, Office Manager Diane Hunt and Geraldine Lemieux discussed the balance sheet. Commissioner DeLong questioned why the month of September had a loss and asked that the balance sheets be distributed a day before the meeting in order to study it more closely. Comparison of purchase power from 1976 to 1977 was discussed. Notice of a meeting with MMWEC to be held on 11/3/77. Commercial Deliquent accounts. - was discussed. It was noted that an ex- cellent job is being done in collecting on these accounts. Mr.Ha11 stated that he would like to request the aid of the Town Counsel in collecting on account #R -297. Commi:ssioneri.Delong• moved that this request be granted, seconded by Commissioner Clemmey. Voted 4-0. Christmas Lights - It was noted that there is only $400 in the budget for this expense. Mr. Haul states that it cost approximately $3000 with $2500 going for labor alone. The supplies from last year will be used and the Light Dept. will have to trust the Town for the rest of the money. Pre - Budget hearings were hel& with the Selectmen and Town Manager. The de- partments present were; Council-On- Aging, Library, Police, Fire, Board of Assessors, Veterans, Town Clerk, Board of Health, Conservation, Great Woods Study Committee, Town Treasurer, Water Dept. and Highway Dept. Their being no further business the meeting adjourned at 10:00 pm.
