Present: Chairman Harrington, Commissioners D'Onfrio and McNair.
Commissioner Dunn arrived at 7:45, Commissioner Mahana
was not present this evening.
7:30 Meeting Called to order.
Minutes of October 5, 1987
Motion: To approve Minutes of October 5, 1987.

Old Business Manager

The Manager reported to the Commissioners on the Dukakis Bill,
They were told the Bill was in the Government Regulation Committee and
our lobbyist was confident it would be extended to the end of the session.
He also reported that we have two letters, one the six month notification
on withdrawing from our mambership and a one year notification to
terminate the Service Agreement.
Motion: To send a letter recinding our proposed withdrawral from M.M.W.E.C.
membership, effective January 1, 1988.

Motion: To send a letter to recind our Service Agreement with M.M.W.E.C.
effective July 15, 1988.

The Open Meeting was Adjourned to go into Executive Session.
Motion: To go into Executive Session to discuss Contract Negotiations. 7:50

Old Business Manager- Continued
There was a short discussion on the M.M.W.E.C. Management Audit.
The Commissioners were told the Strategic Management Association will be
giving there report on, Wednesday, November 4, 1987. Concerns were
expressed by the Commissioners, and they were told by the Manager that
he would relay them to the Board of Directors.
E.C.S. Audits -Pine Needle Lane:
Fourteen families from Pine Needle Lane showed up at the Conserva-
tion Meeting, and two houses were chosen for house doctoring. Commissioner
Harrington asked the Manager about press releases, to show the rest of the
town how the experiment is working.

Holiday Decorations:
Chairman Harrington asked about Holiday Decorations and was told
by the Manager that the tree lights and decorations are all up.
New Business - Manager
The Manager requested permission to apply for a business Credit
Card.
Motion: To give permission to the Manager to apply for a Credit Card. TABLED
McNair /Dunn Vote 4 -0
New Business - Commissioners
Commissioner Harrington spoke to the Manager about donating some
poles for the new playground. He said the group in charge of this would
submit a written request, when they were ready.
There being no further Business, the Meeting was Adjourned. 9:20
