BOARD OF LIGHT COMMISSIONERS
MINUTES OF MEETING
OCTOBER 8, 1991
PRESENT: Chairman Sarro, Commissioners Pasquale & Robinson.
Chairman Tartufo and Commissioner Colella were absent.
Meeting called to order at 7:25 pm
MOTION: To approve minutes of September 17, 1991

RELOCATION OF BUSINESS OFFICE SITE:
The Manager informed the Board that he had advertised for proposals
to lease space and six proposals were received in response:
A. 44 Wood Avenue
B. 396 West Street
C. 272 Chauncy Street
D. 125 High Street
E. 450 Chauncy Street
F. 210 -214 Rumford Avenue
The Board discussed each individual offer at length in great detail.
The possibility of buildings becoming available from the School
Department in the near future was also discussed.
The Manager recommended 125 High Street because it was adjacent to the
Light Plant which would help consolidate both parts of the Electric
Department's operations. In addition, the square foot cost and the
amount of space available made this site the most attractive in
his opinion.
At 7:48 pm, Commissioner Sarro called for a 5 minute recess.
Meeting called back to order at 7:52 pm

Commissioner Pasquale voted against, Chairmain Sarro abstained.
