Meeting called to order at 7:14 pm
To approve minutes of June 16, 1992.
Pasquale / Tartufo
Christmas Lights
Vote 5/0
The Manager asked Mr. Pasquale if he had asked the Lions Club if
they would consider donating money for the Town's Christmas lights.
Mr. Pasquale advised the Manager that he would need an estimate of
how much money would be required. The Manager said he would
provide Mr. Pasquale with an estimate.
Traffic Signal at 106 & Franklin Street
The Town requested that we reset the signal from 30 seconds to 35
seconds. The Manager advised the Board that this would be done as
soon as Bell company could get to it.
Tree Trimming Mill Street
Mill Street tree trimming will not be done until late Fall.
Purchase Power
The Manager spent some time explaining where we purchased our
power, how much power we purchase and the cost per kwh of power
purchased from the different suppliers.
R.F.P. Audit
The Board instructed the Manager to put a bid out for a new
auditing firm to perform our yearly audit. This is to be done for
the 1993 audit.
Merckens Meeting
A meeting has been scheduled for September 8, 1992 at 10:00 am at
the Town Hall with Merckens Company to discuss their co- generation
plans. The Board would like to find out what Merckens' time table
for this project is.
Non -Union Pay Raises:
The Manager requested a 6.5% pool for merit increases.
MOTION: To authorize the Manager to distribute a 6% pool among
his non -union employees.
A 1% cost of living increasing and a 3 -6% merit increase
to be distributed equitably based on merit.

The next Light Commissioners meeting will be Tuesday, October 6,
1992 at 7:00 pm at the Town Hall. It was also agreed that future
Light Commissioners meetings will be the first Tuesday of each
month.
