Pasquale /Madan Vote 5 - 0 FIRE ALARM CABLE The Board advised the Manager that he was not to do any work for the Fire Department on this project. The traffic control box at the corner of Route 106 and Main Street is currently blocking the DePillo Memorial. The Board of Light Commissioners had instructed the Manager to perform whatever work was necessary to move the box so that it did not block the memorial. The Light Department was going to begin work on this project when Mr. DePillo informed the Line Foreman that the State was going to move the box. This project is currently on hold pending further information as to whether or not the state will be moving the traffic box or not. The Manager stated he would send a memo to the Town Engineer requesting more information. DEPRECIATION FUND SEGREGATION Commissioner Pasquale asked the Board to reconsider the segregation of the Depreciation Fund from the Treasurer's general fund. Mr. Pasquale advised the Board that the Town would lose approximately $70,000 in interest from this fund and would be forced to resort to short term borrowing of money. Mr. Mahana does not feel that the Town should keep the $70,000 in interest since it belongs to the Electric Department. The Board agreed that they would not be opposed to the Electric Department lending the Town Hall money in lieu of short term borrowing. KRAFT, INC DEPOSIT The Manager advised the Board that Kraft Inc was renting property at 41 Hampden Road and it was their company policy not to pay deposits. The Manager informed the Board that the Department policy is to require three month's estimated bills as a deposit from all commercial accounts which do not own property.
