MINUTES OF MEETING
FEBRUARY 4, 1991
PRESENT: William Sarro, Edward Tartufo and Tom Markt
ABSENT: Chico Colella and Amos Robinson.
Meeting called to order at 8:02 P.M.
MOTION: To approve minutes of November 27, 1990

The Charrman requested that the Manager provide a copy of the agenda one
week prior to the meeting.
ENGINEERING MAIN STREET UNDERGROUND
The Manager advised the Board that two proposals were received. R.A. Cataldo
bid $18,750.00 and Stowes bid hourly rates which are not to exceed a total of
$21,554.00.
NOTION: To accept Manager's recommendation to award the bid to RA Cataldo for
the Main Street underground project at a price of $18,750.00

Vote 2 -1
Chairman Sarro opposed this motion stating that he didn't feel RA Cataldo
was stable enough.
STREET LIGHTING REQUIREMENT
The Board advised the Manager that they would like to meet with him and the
Planning Director to finalize the Town of Mansfield street light requirements.
This will be done at a future Selectmen's meeting.
VACATION
The Manager notified the Light Commissioner that he will be on vacation from
February 13 through February 22, 1991.
MANSFIELD ELECTRIC DEPARTMENT LAWSUIT
The Manager notified the Board of Light Commissioners that the Mansfield
Municipal Electric Department is going to sue the Town of Mansfield Board
of Selectmen.
MONTHLY DETAIL LiORK REPORT
The Board advised the Manager that they would like a monthly detailed work
report of the crew at the Plant.

BUDGET
The Manager presented his estimate of Income and Expense for the Electric
Department for 1991. The Board will discuss this further at the meeting
of February 25, 1991.
