Motion: To approve as submitted
(Cleary-Jodice) Five in favor. Three abstentions. PASSES

Saddle Ridge/Black Pond - The plan creates three lots with adequate frontage and area
Motion: To endorse the Form A (Cleary- V errochi) All in favor. PASSES

The board discussed the flashing Sleepy's sign and the temporary construction signs at
Mansfield Crossing.
Motion: To send a letter to Ken Hecht asking that the temporary signs be removed and
the Sleepy's sign be repaired (Annino-Cleary) All in favor. PASSES
Mr. Jodice said there was gridlock at the entrance to Mansfield Crossing the Saturday
before Christmas because drivers were blocking the intersection and the driveway. Mr.
MacDonald said he went by soon after Mr. Jodice, and there was no back-up.
Mr. Annino said the Board of Selectmen as Light Commissioners voted not to buy into
the consortium of all the utility companies in Massachusetts. Ms. Ashman-Collins said
that means the residents of Mansfield will not be eligible for grants for alternative energy
equipment, like solar panels. Mr. Annino suggested sending the Light Commissioners a
letter discussing how important this would be for the property owners of Mansfield, how
it would fit in with the goals of the Master Plan and what the residents could lose by the
town not opting in. Mr. Jodice asked to find out what that would cost to buy in would be
to the average rate payer. Mr. Annino said if Mansfield is trying to position itself as a
biotech center, companies are going to want those options.
Mr. Jodice said the downtown sidewalks are being well plowed this winter.
