Around the Table
Dr. Torman asked if anything has happened with the Cape Cod Lumber signs
on Route 140. Mr. Burke stated they are on MassHighway property, over
which the Town does not have jurisdiction.
Mrs. Flynn asked Mr. Burke if there had been any progress in getting a
definition of hazardous materials relative to transfer stations. He replied that
he had talked to Scott Leite, Mansfield Health Agent, about it. The State
definition is too long; however, Mr. Burke will work on a definition. Mrs.
Flynn also suggested the Board consider going to larger lot sizes in the Water
Protection Disctrict, noting Norton has gone to 80,000 sq. ft. lots.
