1. Meeting called to order at 7:10 P.M.
2. Master Plan Committee Organization
Planner Bonda said she had spoken with some members of the School
Committee, who asked only that they be kept more informed of the Master
Plan Committee's activities. The board agreed that was not a problem.
Planner Dolan asked if it might be a good idea to add other committees in
order to keep peace, and suggested additional citizens -at- large.
The board discussed the advantages and disadvantages of expanding the
Master Plan Committee. Advantages included broader viewpoints, more
consensus at Town Meeting, involving other committees in the process, and
addressing the concerns of some Master Plan Committee members.
The disadvantage was the size of the committee, already at 13 voting
members, plus two alternates from boards, the Plannin^
representative of the Town Manager's office, for a tot,,
Planner Bonda, who is the Master Plan Committee Ch
difficult to chair a group larger than the current one.
Motion: To leave the make -up of the Master Plan Co

Clerk Sullivan suggested the Planning Board could re(
five members with two alternates, but there would stilt
number of members if the alternates also attend the mi
