1. Meeting called to order at 4:30 P.M.
2. Correspondence
1. Memo from Daniel Clifford, Subdivision Inspector RE:
moving surety from Amwest Insurance Co. to a passbook.
Motion: To approve the request.
(McClanahan - Flynn) All in favor. PASSES.
2. Memo from Dan Clifford RE: Partial Release of Bond on
Sturbridge Estates.
Motion: To approve the release.
(Flynn - McClanahan) All in favor. PASSES.
3. Memo from Dan Clifford RE: Partial Release of Bond on
Rosewood Court."
Motion: To approve the release.
(McClanahan - Flynn) All in favor. PASSES.
4.' Memo from Dan Clifford RE: Partial Release of Bond on
Hallett Crossing II Phase III.
Motion: To approve the release.
(Flynn- Madan) Three in favor, one abstention.
PASSES.
5. Memo from Dan Clifford RE: Partial Release of Bond on
Tara Estates Extension.
Motion: To approve the release.
(McClanahan- Flynn) All in favor. PASSES.
6. Memo from Dan Clifford RE: Partial Release of Bond on
Shamrock Estates.
Motion: To approve the release.

7. Letter from Michael Cadden RE: his official resignation.
8. Letter to Dan Clifford from East Coast Development RE:
Hold Harmless agreement for several streets. (cc:

9. Letter to Board of Selectmen from Karl Clemmey RE:
withdrawal of zoning articles. (cc: Planning Board).
10. Letter to Andrea Bonds from Board of Selectmen RE:
appointment to Planning Board (cc: Planning Board).
11. Memo from Finance Committee RE: budget sessions.
12. Memo from William F. Williams, Town Manager, RE: Special
Town meeting warrant and date.
13. Variance application RJM Equipment Corp, corner of
Oakland and Mansfield Ave.
Motion: To send a negative recommendation to the Zoning
Board of Appeals because it derogate from the
intent of the Zoning By -Law. (Flynn- McClanahan)
One in favor, three opposed. FAILS.
Motion: To send a positive recommendation to the Zoning
Board of Appeals. (McClanahan - Caponigro) Three
in favor, one opposed. PASSES.
14. Variance application DeWolfe New England /Mansfield
Vision Center for a larger than allowed sign.
Motion: To send a negative recommendation to the Zoning
Board of Appeals.
(McClanahan- Madan) Two in favor, two opposed.
FAILS.
Planner McClanahan left the meeting at this point.
15. Letter from Mike Trowbridge RE: Cottage Street Extension.
Request to remove catch basins at the intersection of
Rock Street and Cottage Street toward Back Bay Brook.
Mr. Burke said Dan Clifford and Bob Swanson, Town
Engineer both said the plan was acceptable.
Motion: To approve the plan.
(Flynn - Caponigro) All in favor. PASSES.
Planner McClanahan returned to the meeting at this point.
The board presented Planner Caponigro with a citation in
appreciation for his years of service on the Planning Board.
Planner Caponigro thanked the board and expressed his
pleasure at having worked with its members and Planning
Department staff.
2. Adjournment
Motion: To adjourn at 4:40 P.M.
