Memo from the Engineering Department in regard to a meeting with Ralph Maloon (Project Engineer). Ralph Maloon presented the modifications made to the plan. He stated that after drawing, studying, and reviewing the plan with the engineering department, he has come up with a proposed profile that is similar to Dunn Engineering's plan. Mr. Maloon showed the areas where there would only be an inch in the gutter Pane. This is not happening all over the place, he explained. Ralph Maloon stated that he was going to ask for a waiver for S" granite curbs but is no longer going to do so because there is not enough to save, 70 percent would be replaced. He has not spoken to LaRusso about this yet. A pair,of basins should be installed at Station 11 + 75 on Angelina Lane, approximately on the corner of Lots 17 & 19, where the straight portion of the road bends. 2 • Granite curbing is to go in • Two (2) basins are to be installed • Some structures to are to be brought up to grade The applicant is requesting two waivers: 1/4" per foot rather than 3/8" per foot 1" pavement rather than 1 1/2 " of pavement Detention Basin The detention basin is located in a new area separate from the subdivision. The concern of the water from the brook getting into the detention basin was addressed. The Channel was widened so that the water could sweep in easier. Plantings in the basin would consist of 82 percent high Blueberry Bushes and 18 percent Red Maple. The groundwater varies. The elevation is 122 or 1/2 foot over groundwater. The responsibility of the detention basin was discussed. The Town would like an easement on it. Both the abuttors and the Board discussed the idea of Fire Side Realty Trust maintaining and being responsible for the basin. Public Discussion Florence J.
