Meeting: opened meeting at 7:34 p.m.
Topics of Discussion:
Miscellaneous:
Mr. Lazzara discussed the Open Meeting Law concerning the storing and safekeeping of
minutes, notes, recording and documentation. The Chairman stated that if the Finance Committee
generated the documentation, that information would be maintained. He stated that most of the
documentation comes from the town accountant, treasurer and town manager and they have those
documents stored.
The Committee reviewed the Town Manager's memorandum concerning the closing of annual
town meeting warrant and the deadline to submit articles is March I, 2011.
Budget Debt Analysis:
The Committee discussed the FYl2 budget projections and compared with the town manager's
and accountant's versions. The Committee discussed a further comparison of the assumptions and
reviewing the current FY12 model created by Mr. Chambers.
There was a Capital Improf~Htquest for $800,000 per year on top of the $500,000 budgeted
for FYI2 from the DPW. The CommIttee recommended inviting the DPW to next week's meeting to
discuss further.
