3. The Open Session convened at 8:45 PM.1.
2. Nominations to Hire an Attorney for the Great Waves Zoning Appeal
Motion: To nominate Dan Bailey, Rachemann, Sawyer & Brewster.
(Wills - Amoroso) Chairwoman Royle, Clerk Wills, and Selectmen
Amoroso and Robinson in favor.
Motion: To nominate Joel Bard, Kopelman and Paige.
(McCarter - Amoruso) Selectman McCarter in favor.
Selectman McCarter withdrew his nomination for Attorney Bard and voted in favor
of Attorney Baily, who then received a unanimous vote of the Board.
3. Department Head Vehicles
Town Manager D'Agostino will present a list of vehicles and which staff members take
vehicles home. The Board will review the information and discuss it in the future.
4. I -1 Zone Retail Business Elimination
A workshop will be requested with the Planning Board to discuss the I -1 Zone Retail
Business elimination and the pros and cons.
5. Charter Revisions
The Board of Selectmen is in favor of publishing six articles at the Special Town Meeting
in the Fall.
• Include an Animal Welfare Committee
• Change Town Meeting and Election Dates
• Change Budget Preparation Dates
• Three -Year Terms for Planning Board Members
• Include Two School Committee Members on the Capital Improvements Committee
• Selectmen approve Reserve Fund Transfer Requests on the recommendation of the
Town Manager
Town Manager D'Agostino will request Town Counsel write the articles.
6. Capital Water Charge
The Board of Selectmen requested the following information to review:
• Funds collected over the last five years
• Comparison of Capital Water Charge for surrounding communities

Motion: To adjourn.
