1. The Board of Selectmen's meeting was called to order at 7:30 PM.
2. Warrant No. 99046 - $4,126,175.52
Motion: To approve.
(Amoroso- Robinson) All in favor. Passes. Chairwoman Royle abstained
on all Board of Health items, Selectman Robinson abstained on the School
Department payroll, and Selectman McCarter abstained on the Municipal
Building Committee payroll.
3. WWII Scholarship Fund Committee Appointment
Motion: To appoint Catherine Hayner.
(Wills - Amoruso) All in favor. Passes.
4. East Mansfield Common
Selectman Robinson requested the Board's approval to ask the Water Department to
install water meters at the East Mansfield Common, as was done the last several years, to
allow him to maintain the common.
Motion: To ask the Water Department to install a water meter and allow Selectman
Robinson to maintain the East Mansfield Common, as he has in the past.
(McCarter -Wills) All in favor. Passes.
5. Memorial Park Contamination
A workshop has been scheduled with Ralph Penney, Penney Engineering, Recreation
Commission, and staff on May 18 at 8pm to discuss Memorial Park contamination and a
plan for remediation.
6. Vice Chairman
Motion: To nominate Selectman Robinson to be Vice Chairman.
(Wills - Amoroso) All in favor. Passes.
7. 875 Realty Trust Open Air Parking Facility License Renewal
Memorandum from Assistant Building Inspector Nick Riccio stating the lot meets the site
plan requirements.
Motion: To approve the open air parking facility license at 875 South Main Street.
(Robinson - McCarter) All in favor. Passes.
8. Great Waves Presentation
Great Waves confirmed their attendance at the Selectmen's May 19 meeting at 8:30 PM.
A consensus of the Board was in favor of allowing the Chair to ask five questions
presented by Wave Good Bye and allowing a spokesperson from Wave Good Bye to ask
five follow -up questions. The Discussion should take one hour.
9. Adjournment — 10:05PM
Motion: To adjourn.
