Present: Chairman Madan, Clerk Royle, and Selectman Mahana
Mark Morse, MMA Consulting Group
1. The workshop was called to order at 3:00 PM.
2. Search Committee
The Selectmen and Mr. Morse discussed the Town Manager search committee
make -up. It was discussed that the committee should include the following
persons:
• DPW Director
• Finance Committee Member
• Council on Aging Director
• Community Business Representative
• Citizen at Large
• Two Selectmen, (Clerk Royle and Selectman Mahana volunteered)
3. Advertisement /Qualifications /Salary Range
The Selectmen discussed advertising the Town Manager position in Northeast
area, Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey. It is hoped that the position will
be filled by September 1. The salary range for the position should be $70- 80,000.
Candidates should have ten years of municipal experience and posses a Bachelors
or Masters Degree.
