Present: Acting Chairman Royle and Selectmen Mahana and Cofella
Robert Mangiaratti, Town Counsel
Richard Boucher, Acting Town Manager
Acting Chairman Royle polled the Board of Selectmen to enter into executive
session to discuss litigation.
Sale of Balcom Ridge Lots
At the September 24 Selectmen's meeting, Rick Rosemark, high bidder on Balcom
Ridge Lot 407, requested a two -week extension to submit his deposit on the lot.
Mr. Rosemark has stated that he is experiencing difficulty obtaining title insurance
on the lot and has requested the Town take all four Balcom Ridge lots recently put
out to bid to Land Court to clear their titles. No action was taken by the
Selectmen at that time.
The high bidder on another Balcom Ridge Lot, Sam David, submitted his deposit
on September 29.
Motion: To take no action to establish a clear title. Prepare a Release Deed
and give Mr. Rosemark a two -week extension to submit his deposit.
