Present: Chairman Madan, Clerk Royle, and Selectmen Colella, Mahana, and
Robinson
Acting Manager Richard Boucher
The purpose of the executive session was to discuss a proposed settlement with the
Town of Norton for payment of past due sewer bills. Town Counsel, Max
Volterra, in his letter dated October 16, 1997, proposes a settlement of payment of
$100,000 each year, commencing 1997, for four years, with a final payment in the
fifth year of $81,903.54.
Motion: To accept the settlement.
( Royle- Robinson) All in favor. Passes. All subsequent bills must be
paid also.
Motion: To go out of executive session.
