Present: Chairman Madan, Clerk Royle, Selectmen Colella, Mabana, and
Robinson
Acting Manager Boucher gave an update on a meeting he attended this date with
Joseph Rezza, Mi•. Rezza's Business Manager, Selectman Royle, and Assistant
DPW Director Robert Morrison concerning purchasing property owned by Mr.
John Rezza for the Witch Pond Well.
Mr. Boucher stated the following:
• There is potential for a second and possibly a third well site on the land.
• If Mansfield is not interested, Foxboro may be.
• Mr. Boucher's offer of $750,00 for the land was not accepted.
• Mr. Rezza offered to sell the land to the Town for $950,000
Motion: To accept the offer of $950,000 subject to Town Meeting approval.
(Colella - Royle) All in favor. Passes.
Motion: To adjourn.
