Executive Session
Minutes
October 23, 1996
Present: Chairman Madan, Clerk Mahana, and Selectmen Colella, Mahana, and
Robinson
Chairman Madan stated that Town Counsel, Robert Mangiaratti, recommended the
Selectmen review the Town Manager's contract to be sure all members are in agreement
with the terms of the contract. One amendment has been made to the contract to Section
1513.
MOTION: To include the amendment to 15B in the contract.
(Robinson - Pasquale) All in favor. PASSES.
Prior to voting on the above motion, Selectman Pasquale asked if Mi•. Williams was in
agreement with the contract and the amendment when Chairman Madan and Selectman
Robinson spoke to him about it.
MOTION: That we accept the contract as amended and send it back to Town Counsel
to forward to Mr. Williams and his attorney for their review. Mr. Williams
and his attorney will forward it back to the Selectmen.
(Robinson - Pasquale) All in favor. PASSES.
Prior to voting on the above motion, Selectman Colella questioned the length of the
contract and questioned his ability to sign the contract when he did not support the
renewal of it.
MOTION: To go out of executive session.
